Guess I'm not sure why you think this? His recruiting has been great but you don't turn around the team he was given in year two without killing it in that department. He has a pretty good pedigree of making the most out of limited talent.

His biggest strength is probably his management, building culture, etc. Not flashy stuff for the fans, but I'd rather have a proven leader than a good coordinator as HC.

Culture is the main thing. Long time losing nfl teams need a culture makeover and Campbell has proven he can do that.
