What's the typical procedure for single game general public? Is there a set date or does it depend on how these pre-purchases go?

It is my understanding that whatever tickets are left will become available to the general public in mid-August

So, not much for Gen Pop, is what you are saying?

Chances the Iowa game sets a new record this year?

I know they said 56800 is the max last year, but i wonder if we could pull out some of the seating we've used inthe past in front of the regular sideline seats (i know the band had been put on these at one point in the past) to squeeze some more in.

Maybe they could hang some safety harnesses off the scoreboard. Make it more fan friendly.

For the season ticket holders - when are we expected to receive our tickets in the mail?

I think those usually come a couple weeks before the first game, id imagine those could start shipping before too long.

I'm also wondering when they pop up in the online management system, ive got a couple to forward as PDFs.

So the way I read this is that there will likely be less Hawks in the stands? This is like Christmas in July!

Are any season ticket holders out there willing to pick up a couple Iowa game tickets for my wife and I? Trying to go to this game for our anniversary.

ONLY a limited number of hillside tickets and “single” reserved seats in the stadium will be available for the Iowa State vs. Iowa game. “Single” reserved seats are scattered across the stadium and are not located next to each other.

Not sure if this is how to celebrate an anniversary.

Right, but this could be helpful:

  • Directors & Victory Level Cyclone Club members may purchase up to four (4) tickets.
  • Captains, Gold, Cardinal, States, & Century Level Cyclone Club members along with non-donor season ticketholders may purchase up to two (2) tickets.

There will be some outside their allotment, but they most likely either:

- paid for full season tickets (isu will take this sale)
- bought a single ticket at a very high price from a season ticket holder (pretty easy to get 300 or more per ticket out of this one game alone). This high scalping value also encourages more season ticketholders to buy as they can recoup some of their investment. Again, good for ISU

I know of a couple who actually do this then sell the remaining tickets.

People don't want Hok fans there? I guess to me it is more fun if they are there as it makes the post-game celebration that much sweeter.

Not a bad way. Looking on stubhub you could probably pay back a lot of your investment. $100 for UNI, $150 for UT, etc and youve come close to paying back the whole thing.

I anticipate a big group of WVA tickets to be on stubhub The only way to get a ticket for the Texas-WVA game is to buy a package of three games and one of those is Iowa State. A friend of my son is buying the tickets for his alumni group in DC and anticipates hundreds of Iowa State tickets to become available or unused.
