But my hope is the bomb robot that is going to the boat keeps him alive and has a very large probe that searches anal cavities for bombs. And checks over and over and over.

I want him alive so he can rot in a hole for the rest of his life! Don't think he'll be taken alive though.
They've got equipment in place to rip the top off of the boat and then they'll see how he reacts. Clearing all officers out of the line of fire.
Just making sure no friendly fire. They'll pull the cover and give a couple seconds to see his reaction. Not much chance to give himself up before they open fire is my guess.
he's on a boat that had a tarp over it. They don't know what kind of weapons/explosives he could have so they were getting the tarp removed and all the officers moved who apparently liked to stand in the line of fire.
