I wonder if the Big Ten is still glad they picked Nebraska up.

They've brought essentially nothing to the conference.

You could say the same about Rutgers too except for they have no history or obnoxious fan base like Nebraska. Maryland has been competitive once in awhile but on a whole adding those 3 schools has mostly watered down the competition in the Big 10. Financially may have made sense with the markets they gained but it is still to be seen that the Big 10 really has gained much from their East coast presence.

Rutgers brings cable money from the Philly and NYC media markets. They do suck, though, but I suppose Ohio State and Michigan might enjoy having a punching bag in their conference slate.

Maryland does the same for DC and Baltimore and doesn't completely suck at everything.

Nebraska both sucks and doesn't bring in any money. Omaha and Lincoln are tiny compared to those four.

Assuming Frost gets replaced, the next coach would be their 7th in the last 18 years. Meanwhile, Iowa State is being included in the national championship discussion. I wish a psychic would have let me in on this a few decades ago. I would have been a lot less depressed.

It could be that NU is salivating at that thought of going after CMC and his coaching team. The Big XII is ripe for picking.

Campbell can do much better than Nebraska.

He can really have any job he wants at this point.

It would be a college blueblood or an NFL team, not Nebraska.

Matt Rhule got $60 million for seven years (or $8.57 million per year) from the Panthers.

The Lions reportedly offered Campbell a very similar deal.

Nebraska is paying Frost about $5 million per year. Not bad, but not what the shield can offer.

Jamie Pollard recently passed on Nebraska. I'm sure Matt Campbell would do the same, even with all the realignment crap going on right now.

I could see BF ending up there if him and pops can't pull off the Iowa HC position, but I still think he will replace KF.

LOL if BF went to Nebby, that would be a train wreck and a half. It would be glorious though.
