I know it's still very far out, but the weather forecast doesn't look great. Don't think I'll be packing lots of shorts. Here's what it says for game week:

Wed: 61 and 80% chance of rain
Thurs: 63 and 80% rain
Fri: 61 and 20% rain
Sat: 59 and 60% rain

Happy the game is indoors! Will pack an umbrella for the Riverwalk.

60 with chances of rain vs last years Memphis weather sounds glorious.

Yup, and even with the cold temps in Memphis, Cyclones had a blast. Pretty sure that no matter the weather, Cyclone fans will have a great party......can't wait!

I find that a forecasts this far out tend to be completely wrong. Actually I take this as a good sign.

It will be fine no matter what happens, but if it rains most of the time down there it will take some of the fun away. Probably make the bars happy.

They're going to have had like 2 weeks straight of great weather down there leading up to Christmas, so wouldn't you know it that as soon as Cyclone fans get down there it's forecasted to rain for 4 days in a row. :(

The average highs in San Antonio that week are in the low 60s, so it's basically right where it should be this time of the year. I'm more concerned about the snow that has crept into OUR long-range forecast for those driving down and back (or flying, for that matter). Crossing my fingers that it doesn't become a big weather event - or that it drops out of the forecast entirely.

Also driving and want to just be able to get out of Iowa on Christmas Day.

I'd like to hear from some of our weather experts on here. I know it's way too far out to worry yet, but why does nearly every forecast you look at agree that something will be arriving here in Iowa on Christmas? If it's too far out to really know, why is there such agreement then?

The weather will be fine. If I had been able to go to the game the weather would suck and anyone driving would probably have gotten caught in a blizzard. You all should send me a Christmas card for staying home. As it is I am flying on the 21st and the 24th so weather in the midwest is going to blow chunks (no need to check forecasts) , keep your eye on the weather this coming holiday weekend. Sorry about that.
