IRVING, Texas — The Big 12 Conference announced Wednesday afternoon that redshirt freshman Sam Colbray was named Co-Big 12 Wrestler of the Week with Utah Valley’s Kimball Bastian. This marks the second time in as many weeks that a Cyclone has earned the weekly Big 12 recognition. Last week, it wasredshirt freshman Ian Parker who received the honor.

I have never been so happy to be so wrong. Colbray's improvement the past month has been amazing. If he can reach his full potential, that bodes very, very well for the lineup in the future! The guys that buy into this staff will compete at a very high level. Love it.
