I had no idea he was sick. RIP
I cannot confirm that he has passed but a good friend of his texted me last week and said things were not looking good. Sad deal.

There are occasionally people that get dicharged from hospice because they do better than expected and end up not as terminal as expected. You were probably just saying that lightly but I didn't want misinformation about hospice out there.
True. I remember after a Texas A&M game in college station sitting on the team bus and watching him take his shots (This was after the first time).
Bob was a great coach and an even greater person, I am honored to have gotten to know him.
Agree, my wifes grandma was put in hospice 3 years ago. She is still very much alive.
Sad to hear this. Would be nice if the teams did something for him during the game in Ames this fall.
