He was only 58.


One of my all time favorite teams was when AI and him played together. Wagged my finger at lot of middle schoolers on the court because of him.

Dang that sucks. Iconic ball player, and guy that was easy to root for. Way too young....RIP Dikembe.

Sad. He was a great basketball talent. And from media reports had a huge impact on making the World a better place after he retired.

That era had some amazing centers. Mutombo, Olajuwon, Shaq, Ewing, Mourning.

Remember seeing him play in Hilton back in the day and thought it was so cool to see him in person.
