No article on Cyclones.com yet but Here's the game notes (.pdf). No surprises in the projected lineups, though there are a few more "or"s than you'd expect.

This meet isn't part of the season ticket package and Cyclones.TV will not be streaming the meet.

There are lots of seats left, so there is a JCC promotion

Where: Stephens Auditorium, Ames, IA
When: 2:00PM, Sunday, November 26th
How to Follow: Trackwrestling and Twitter are it

Rider has two ranked guys at weights where we are weak, and a couple of other solid wrestlers. Intermat and USA Today both have them ranked #23 as a dual team.

Really wish it would have been included in season tickets- think there would have been a bigger crowd.

133 -- Phillip Laux (Iowa) dec. Anthony Cefelo, 5-1,
141 -- Tyson Dippery (Rider) dec. Vincent Turk, 8-4,
149 -- Brandon Sorensen (Iowa) def. Gary Dinmore, 13-4,

Edit: Some places say the Stoll pin was in 0:12 but others say 1:27. Not sure which is correct.

I don't follow wrestling ... but ... is it normal to have it in Stephen's Auditorium? Seems like it would be a strange to have a wrestling match on a (literal) stage.

First time ever. Other schools have done it as a one-off, including VT when Dresser was there.

I think VT does it one meet every season.

They do now.

I'll reserve judgment until I see how tomorrow plays out, but my first instinct is that this will be a nice one-time novelty thing and hopefully not a once-per-season thing.

New here and was wondering if the wrestlers get graded here after a dual? See they do that on the Hawkeye Report. The know it alls over there let the wrestlers know what they did wrong and what they need to improve on.

We actually have coaches that are paid to do this...but yes I think it is hilarous how certain people think they have all the answers in these forums. Doesn’t matter the sport. Clonedude, for one, has all the answers including how coaches should handle discipline.

Yes. This a fan board to discuss wrestling. And people give their opinions on how the team performed.
