What a joke if it’s T.J. ISU will continue being a bottom feeder with him at the helm. His UNLV team this last year was just as poorly coached as ISU’s. Looked to be coached by the same guy. This is Jamie hiring his buddy and not looking out for the basketball program. T.J. will get the recruits, but they will be badly coached. He’s literally Prohm 2.0, but a slightly better recruiter. What a ******* joke.
No it wasn’t lol

More or less like the Campbell Hire. Find the right Coach. Do it.

Honestly, I get this. Pollard focused only on Campbell and it worked out. Hell, it worked out so well that I think he should be allowed to make a stupid pick with TJ to keep campbell happy.

But with Campbell, pollard talked with industry people. He talked to other coaches. HE WAS NOT FRIENDS WITH CAMPBELL.

With TJ, no one nationally is saying TJ is some future star. No other power 5 wants to hire him. Jamie is purely trusting his gut because they are friends.

I love it! I think he will be great! As you know, I’ve been predicting this for months. Long live TJ and his mediocre record in the mountain west. But it’s ok because he won in South Dakota with a generational player.

A generational player that was Conference Player of the Year.....that couldn’t make the NBA. Trying to figure out if it is better to have a Lottery Pick like TH who had the talent but Prohm couldn’t convert that into wins. Or a Coach who utilizes a player‘s talent and develops it and makes them the best they can be and making the team better?

In that league he is.

The choice want TJ or prohm. Of course you take TJ over prohm today. There are other coaches alive.

So is this confirmed yet? KCCI headline says TJ to replace Prohm but then the article says COULD replace Prohm.

It’s not confirmed. But there are plenty of national guys going with it.

And they only backed off that it was signed. They all still say it’s esstentislly a done deal.
