And? I know I haven't been online much the last few days but did I miss some sort of announcement about evidence of illegal activity between KU and Adidas?Adidas isn't an agent or runner. It's the shoe company that finances Ku athletics.

I am many things but naive isn't one of them. That said, so far I have not seen any evidence that Kansas has been discovered to have done what Arizona was caught on an FBI wiretap doing.Yeah, KU hardly ever gets the recruits they want, right? They don't do exactly what Arizona did to them to other schools, right? Wake up buddy.
Honestly, the biggest news I heard yesterday was that FBI wiretaps confirmed that Arizona head coach Sean Miller directed a $100k payment to Deandre Ayton to snag him away from Kansas. Kansas was the runaway crystal ball leader for Ayton prior to his surprising commitment to Arizona. If KU had a front court of Azubuike and Ayton they would be dominating college hoops right now. That would have been fun but glad to hear that KU/Adidas was not found to have outbid Arizona for Ayton's services.
No, it's not hard at all. The hypothetical conversation would go as follows...Kid tells coach about Arizona offer; KU coach offers more. Kid goes to Kansas. So KU was bidding with Arizona for Ayton? Pretty hard to outbid someone if you're not bidding in the first place, right?

How is that "pretty hard"?
It has been PROVEN that Adidas is willing to pay a Tier B player to go to an Adidas when they gave Brian Bowen, a kid who has little NBA potential other than as a support player, $100k to go to Louisville. If you don't think that Adidas would have happily given Ayton, a Tier A superstar with huge NBA star potential, more than 100k to go to KANSAS then you're delusional. This pretty much leads me to believe that KU and Adidas were never bidding for Ayton.
Elijah Johnson had been a pro for several years at this point and was playing in Greece. Schools that should be concerned are school where the players listed were still in school at the time of the "loan".
You decided that without paying attention to anything having to do with the case. There are no actual facts that support your version. You're delusional if you don't realize you're just picking whatever scenario fits your "KU sucks" bumper sticker.According to you, KU doesn't offer kids money like that. So there would be no way they could outbid for that kid's services.
Let's be honest here, they just got outbid by Arizona and Nike. You're delusional if you can't see that.
If it proves out that there is evidence that a loan to Jackson of his family really happened, then I have zero problem with and fully support KU facing whatever NCAA penalty is seemed appropriate.False alarm schools don't need to be concerned anymore if the players got a loan now that Josh Jackson is involved.

For what violation should Kansas receive an SMU level punishment?KU should be getting SMU style punishment, but even if they don’t, their business model takes a hit. The Tyrone Appleton level recruits won’t be able to afford the lack of usage anymore.

I'll take "Leaps of Logic Failures" for 200, Alex. You, yourself said that they got outbid by Arizona. To get outbid by someone, you, yourself have to bid in the first place. Which means you're offering money (or cars) to get these guys on campus. And, for what it's worth, my bumper sticker says "K-Booooooooooooo"....
Mildly. But the mom's explanation is believable based on years of paying attention to how she has handled her son's recruitment. Similar to how Monte Morris' mom's explanation of Monte's appearance in this mess is believable and makes sense. If the dollar amount was matching up with the dollar amounts rumored for the other big name recruits then I'd be more inclined to be nervous. I assume that before the ncaa can make any decisions that they will actually have to find some sort of actual evidence that an actual ncaa violation occurred. We're a ways away from the end of the tunnel for most of this. No need to be getting worried yet.Are you concerned? I mean you made it clear you should be concerned if you had a player on that list if it said the loan was taken while they were in school

Pardon me for not being big on hysterical overreactions. Boring, I know. Just enjoying tonight's historic win; maybe I'll get around to being worried later. Or maybe not. Before you knew Jackson was on there everyone on the list who took a loan in school should be concerned but now because Jackson's mom denied it like every other person on that list will there's no need to get worried. Lol you're so predictable

Any school with a player on those lists should be concerned as I am sure KU is as they try to sort out what has happened and what might happen in the future. You were the one that said any school should be concerned if a player on that list took a loan while they were in school and now that your school is involved you're acting like it's no big deal. Lol like I said predictable
