ISU's game with OU is sandwiched between their game against Notre Dame and a revenge game against Baylor. I have a friend who is an OU alumn she says everyone she knows is nervous about going on the road for that game...

I think the OSU game is the key game the rest of the year. If we play well and win then JB will regain some lost confidence after the last 4 minutes of the KSU game. I can see us beating Baylor the following week, putting up a close (within 2 scores) game against OU, having a toss-up against Texas (really depends on if Texas plays up to potential), beating Kansas, and having a real close one with WVU. That all is if we beat OSU next weekend.

If we lose at OSU then I think the only game we win is Kansas and it will be closer than we would like it to be. The defense will always be solid if we stay healthy so I think the rest of the season hinges on the confidence that Barnett has in his arm after his performance next weekend. Here's hoping we can give a variety of looks offensively and run the ball in various ways to make passing as easy as possible for him next weekend!

I will be furious if this team cannot win more than 5 games this year. This is the best team we've had since 05 IMO

It's unfortunate we cannot run the ball, we'd be in real good shape for 8 wins

I think Texas is still a winnable game for ISU -- especially since I think the Longhorns are going to get crushed by Texas Tech the week before they play ISU. Hell, I think Baylor may even beat them. If that happens, their delicate ego won't be able to handle it.

That said, I think ISU can -- and will -- beat Kansas, Baylor AND Texas.

And I ain't counting out ISU's chances at OSU this weekend. The Cowboys lost to the only two good teams they've played this year -- Texas and to an Arizona team that barely beat Toledo.

OU will suffer the wrath of not having played in Ames since 2007. We failed on that promise with K-State but Stoops will not be so lucky.

same team just that tech ksu were better teams (Barnett exception)... Tcu is good, isu is better. The Barnett team of the last two games goes 5-1... The jantz team of the first 4 games goes 2-4

Really? Because Im pretty sure we started out 3-0. The intelligence of some people on this site is quite low.

I think you're misreading his post. I think he's saying that if the team led by Barnett for the past 2 games shows up for the remainder of the season, they'd go 5-1 the rest of the way. And if the team led by Jantz for the first 4 games shows up for the remainder of the season, they'd go 2-4 the rest of the way.

Ah well, if that is the case, then ignore my post above. Although I don't know if JB can win 5 of the last 6 games.

but I expect to win and the players should as well which they do. Just keep improving on mistakes and take it one day at a time.

Looking in the mirror when you posted that? He was quite obviously talking about the next six games. I know, you thought he was talking about the first six, where Jantz obviously won three. Not everyone can get the gold star.
