Should have been Red Tails. Would of been historic and honoring a great group of men.

Count on Dan Snyder to miss a chance to make the most offensive name in professional sports into one of the most honorable ones while still keeping a strong connection to the team's history.

Bobcats is pretty generic/feels like a high school team. There's a reason MJ went back to the Hornets.

Stallions is relatively generic and there are already a lot of horse-themed teams in the NFL (Broncos, Colts, and Chargers by my reckoning), but it at least feels like a pro football name. There was almost a "St. Louis Stallions" in the mid-90s that lost out to the Jaguars and the Panthers for expansion.

Wildcatters would have been a good replacement for the "Oilers."

Apollos is nice, too.

I don't hate Texans. It is a name that has seen frequent deployment throughout the history of professional football, including the AFL Dallas Texans. I just wish it were for like San Antonio or Austin instead of Houston when Houston has so many more options invoking its region rather than Texas generally.

The Frackers would've been a good way to split the room.

Underrated football movie.

Shane Falco was always my QB for NCAA Football 14 teams after I renamed all of my players on the roster. Jonathan Moxon was my backup. Others were Bobby Bouche LB, Ray Finkle as my kicker, etc. It was funny reading the stats afterwards from playing dynasty mode online.

I don’t understand what’s so bad about the name. Sure, it was a safe choice (as it probably should have been), but It fits the city, it’s tough, it’s original among major sports franchises, and fits in with other names in the league.

I consider it lame. United Football League lame. The USFL had some lame. XFL probably had lame teams names I can't remember.
The destroyers. The renegades. The breakers. The commanders. The breadsticks.

I'm also bitter they didn't take the opportunity to call themselves something like "hogs" as a nod to a historical era for the organization.
