any new recruits? are Hill and Bevins in or are they still just soft verbals?

I would assume Bevins is in since his friend Seeley is also going to ISU, and those two are rooming with Pierre Aka and BigDawg Williams I believe.

As far as I know Hill is still coming too.

Depends what you mean by "new." Nothin within the last couple of weeks. Duron Williams was our last committ, IIRC. Committ lit is here:
Yahoo Sports: Rivals.com 2012 Iowa St. Commitments

Hill and Bevins are both solid.

I know for a fact that Bevins is "All In". He got some late notice by Iowa and then last week Mizzou was checking him out. He told them both that ISU felt like family to him. The others felt like a business. Coach Andy Hill the recievers coach for Mizzou was checking Collin out. Last word is that Collin is coming to Ames.

Simon and White would be great to end the class with. Does anyone know what happened with Devante Terrell? I thought we would take at least 1 DT, and he appeared to be the one that Shane wanted. Are we taking no interior defensive linemen in this class? Sounds a bit risky to me.

Meyers is a DT, Bevins and/or Morrissey also will be.

Collin Bevins should be considered an interior defensive lineman. He'll either go to defensive tackle or defensive end. If it were me, I would put him at d-end. He's damn fast for a defensive end.

Bevins is wrestling at 285 right now... hes not playing DE at ISU.

Unless hes still 230 and just wrestling guys a lot heavier than him. But once he starts focusing more on football again and is in our weight training program, hes just going to get bigger.

Didn't realize we were still recruiting Simon. Thought maybe we were done with DB in this class after the tweet Everett had way back when. I'd love to add another big corner to Stokes.

I think Everett not coming was because Stokes committed before he did, and we also started going for the younger Simon.

I bet he's still around 230-240 and just doesn't want to cut since he's trying to get bigger for CFB.

Pretty wild if he finished first place against some of the best wrestlers in the nation while being 40-50 pounds lighter than them.

Hwt is pretty consistently the weakest weight class in the state. I know Mansfield and Slifka (former walkon DL) won the 2A and 3A state championship at 285 weighing about 230-240 when they were seniors.

From what I have heard, Bevins is wrestling around 260.

If this is true, I'm pretty confident he will be a DT considering he will likely RS and continue packing on more muscle/mass. Maybe he starts off at DE, but I'm betting he ends up at DT.
