Iowa State is primed for one of the biggest recruiting weekends in school history. Somewhere in the range of 25 recruits will make their way to Ames this weekend, on their own dime, for unofficial visits.

Here's the list of players that will be in Ames this weekend.

- Josh Johnson
- Jeff Nogaj
- Collin Newell
- Angel Dominguez
- Jake Hummel
- O'Rien Vance
- Tyler Jost
- Richard Bowens III

Recruits with offers

- Cedrick Dort
- Kenih Lovely (2018)
- KJ Hamler
- Jordan Ulmer
- Tramar Reece
- Bobby Roundtree
- Keontae Jones
- Tarique Milton
- Malik Davis
- Daetrich Harrington
- Wiley Lester
- Deven Lamp
- Josh Fleeks (2018)
- Shamaur McDowell (2018)
- Gerald Nathan (2018)
- MJ Webb
- Thayer Munford

Visited on Thursday

- Charlie Kolar - COMMITTED TO IOWA STATE
- Reese Leitao

*** I'd have to say Cedar Hill, TX, defensive end Deven Lamp would be the most likely guy to commit out of this weekend. He's a big-time priority for the ISU coaches and they were his first Power 5 offer. He's been somewhat under the radar, but I think he's got a ton of potential.

Make sure to check back to the website on Saturday and throughout the weekend. We'll have FULL coverage of this weekend's recruiting news.

Make sure to check out the new hot board and this week's On the Trail podcast to get yourself ready for the weekend.

Chandler actually convinced MJ Webb to come up for a visit?

Just did a quick search and 247...holy buckets! He is actually coming to visit!

Edit: there a number of really decent recruits coming to visit...impressive!

Reese Laitao never made it Thursday fyi, heard he might try this weekend.
He was going to trip Nebraska after ISU, so, maybe (I'm guessing) he decided to do the Cornhuskers today then make his way to Cyclone Country for the big party. That's what I'm hopin', anyway.

25 is close to 30 I suppose. Why not just say 25?

I'm guessing because it's pretty fluid. They were thinking 30, a couple can't make it, but they are still trying to get others in.

But hey, find something really random to complain about.

You guys sure get defensive easily. Maybe I'll get called out on the next podcast too?

Now you're cooking.

Jared is the hardest working guy at CF at the moment. Hope he gets to boss the intern around.

Jared's doing a great job! Fantastic hire by CF.

CW's on vacation but before that he was working his *** off too. Just in the weeds working on stuff with the new site (should be out in 2-3 weeks!). Really do have a great team on CF.

And yes, he bosses Kroegs around all the time. Got to mold him into the next Stansbury....

Fleeks is an 18'
The fact that Webb is coming on his own dime and listening to Chandler is huge. Hope he's an obvious priority. Guys like Hamler, Jones, Davis, Webb, Munford and Lester have great offer lists.
