Why didn't you pick Pablo Sanchez as your avatar since you went with a Backyard Baseball one? Pablo Sanchez was the GOAT and would hit a home run basically 2 out of every 3 at bats. Even Stephen A Smith couldn't find anything to pick him apart about.

A few posters commented about seeing Jett in a few years, but I'm having a hard time envisioning an Iowa State QB in the NIL era that wasn't on campus straight out of HS

This is my thought along with Campbell not being too high on bringing on a kid that was committed and changed his mind. Matt seems very black and white in that regard and willing to move on without ever looking back.

The guy who could potentially lead us in receiving this year de committed from us and played for a fellow conference member and we welcomed him back with open arms…….

Way up there
This staff had 4* recruits poached before NIL. With the way we have to recruit, we get in early, kids get more suitors and they change their mind it happens. NIL didn't cause this, it's a side effect of the way we have to recruit to compete. We win more of these than we lose, no reason to feel any sort of way about a kid who never signed anything and wouldn't be here for another year anyway.

I don't think Alabama is going to be nearly as dominant in the post-Saban era as they were for a while. People quickly forget how bad Alabama was before Saban got there. The downside of playing in the SEC is that if it will be real easy to fall off the horse if you have a couple down years.
And gets tougher when they have to add another conference game.

Why does everyone keep saying he took a big bag of cash? Don't we have the same 20.5 million to pay our players? There's no way he's getting approved by the committee for a true NIL....I don't get why ISU has less money than Bama? I thought JP said ISU plans on spending the whole 20.5???

Taking my Cardinal colored glasses off…

It’s not absurd that Bama would be an attractive place to play. DeBoer put Penix in the NFL. Winters are easier. Facilities are outstanding. National Championships. 4-5 stars at every skill position around you. Beautiful coeds.

It stinks we lost him, but I can stomach this vs losing him to a Midwest peer.
