Speaking of mono, tyrese must not be too bad off because he was at the football game.
He was successfully completing between the leg dunks during Hilton Madness warmups. He was out there participating in the shooting competition too.

There has been questions about Xavier Foster's family connection to EIU. His Grandpa is Mark Fetter (South Tama Co) who played at Iowa ('72-75) and had tryout w/ Packers.. His aunt (Mark's daughter) is married to A J Blazek who coaches at Rutgers and played at Iowa. His mom is Fetter's youngest daughter.

Hard to overcome family connections even though we're a supperior program.

72-75? The Lauterbur and Cummings era, when ISU didn’t play Iowa.

AJ was a good player for Iowa after coming from a juco in Kansas. I think in Fry’s last year. Part of the group that turned Iowa from having a bad OL into a good one.

So not really that big of a connection.
Not like his dad or mom played for Iowa.

It just depends on whether he's a big fan or not. If he's not a die hard fan, those connections won't be a deciding factor. If he grew up a fan, then it just adds to that.
Agree. Whether it’s a significant factor in his decision is only known by Foster, but imo it’s a significant connection. Of course the two are often highly correlated, but hopefully that’s not the case here.

Who cares about family connection and boil this down to it's basis. Your choice is Prohm or...

Is this really even a conversation, at least in regards to where he will go if he decides to stay in state?
