I'm of the opinion that you can never have too many safeties. They by definition can run, hit and tackle in space and generally have to be experienced in dealing with both larger and quicker defenders so they are valuable in special team as well as being to fill in for corners in a pinch.
Often smart, and can play special teams. Utility infielder always handy to have.

Hey man, like I said, I hope to be proven wrong. But Tampa was Cyclone from beginning to end and these are very different times.

I think he also got a good enough NIL deal to keep him around.

'Loyalty' has a price, just as it always has.
