He's not athletic enough.

Thanks for posting. I guess he most resembles Ejim a bit probably in my opinion, mostly in his look, size, and decent athleticism. His shot is very interesting. It is somewhat of a pretty shot in the fact that he gets really high elevation with a really high release. However, he has this very unique twist in his body during his shot where he always kicks out his right leg big time after the shot. The kick at the end is what really makes his shot unique.

I wonder how Okoro feels about us recruiting a kid to play in front of him. Life in the big leagues.

Looks like he gets off the floor quick, so that's good. Might need a little tweaking on his shot... If only we had a coach who knew a lil sum'n sum'n about shooting...

My thoughts too. He kicks his legs out on his jump shot. I have a prettier jump shot than him.

Looks like a SF to me with some post skills. If his shot is pretty good, he could slide 3-4 judging from his speed & quickness. A comparrison to Ejim sounds about right, it all comes down to his shot accuracy.

Life in the big leagues is correct, if he would take it as a slight then it should motivate him to hit the gym and protect his spot...
Honestly though he shouldn't be upset, currently it'll only be Okoro and possibly Ejim manning the 3 spot in '13. If either of those two got injured the team overall would be hurting to match up in the Big 12. The staff is going to bring in another SF type being JC or Frosh for next year maybe both to protect against that. I'd be suprised if Fred hasn't already told Okoro that prior to us even offering Hogue.

People keep getting worred about players not wanting to come here due to playing behind another player. Hello, how do you think it owuld be if they went to UL, UK, FL, KU, etc. All of those schools have better and deeper talent than us. Good talent and practice competition always brings the best out in the players. If a player can't hold his spot with a year or two extra in the system, then oh well. That's the game, can't make everyone happy.

Reminds me a lot of Ejim. Certainly doesn't look like a PF...

Definitely more of a slashing SF than PF, just like Ejim. In fact, in that video, I didn't see him really post up once. They were nearly all shots, slashes and hustle plays (aka Ejim).
