This didn’t take long. The talk of OU starting on a downward spiral has begun.
That downward spiral began even when Riley was head coach. We all saw it, OU fans were just in denial. Now in the SEC, OU is in a free fall.

They aren't Big 8/12 anymore so screw them. They wanted to be Texas' little stooge and abandon their Big 6/8 rivals, now they have to deal with being SEC middle of the pack (at best) for the foreseeable future.

With any luck we will be there by Tuesday.

Amazing. I'll give this clown credit for never quitting. Where does USC rank on the 'god neighbor' scorecard, deliberately shutting down expansion and stabbing the conference in the back the next year?

Half of that **** is fake news. Altimore is just mhver3 with a slightly better reputation and a fancier presentation.

"How could the Big12 do this?" gif. Time to stop digging, Tony. JFC.

Was the Big12 predatory and destabilizing? FK yeah it was.

But they could not have pulled anyone from anywhere without:
  • USC being the Manchurian candidate for the PAC
  • the B1G throwing a Red Wedding at their "Alliance" party
  • ESPN/SEC/OuT leaving a suitcase bomb marked "American Conference" under the table at the Big12 annual meeting
The Big12 got pulled into a gunfight with only their knife, and managed to still carve a couple guys up and survive.

I haven't watched any of it, but I am really intrigued by the "Who killed college football?" that the shutdown fullcast guys are doing.

Well said

I think it's funny someone tried to demonstrate the "survivalist" teams as the ones causing the chaos.

The funny thing is during realignment in 2022 and 2023 his Twitter engagement from others was through the roof since he's a professional bull s#itter. His charts saying how valuable the Pac 12 was and how there was no way any Pac 12 team would leave for the Big 12. We all know how wrong he was.

Fast forward to today, this tweet has been up for 3 days yet only has 2 retweets and 30 likes. This guy's fake credibility fell off the face of the earth since last year.
