Oh come on, they seem very sensitive to these types of things...

Baltimore Unveils Statue of Ray Lewis

Maybe the bloody white suit will magically appear on the statue?

Not to change the subject to Ray Lewis but that is gonna be so damn awkward with him on TV tonight, having to talk about it.

You mean him talking about this specific incident? Or just him needing to put words together to form coherent sentences?

I want to see Ray Lewis and Charles Barkley call a dodgeball tournament together sometime. Or pretty much anything really.

That would break closed captioning, right?

I'm fine with Charles, he had our backs in the Ohio State debacle.

This is my last post because I don't want to argue about it, but I am sorry if this was a guy that he hit it wouldn't have hardly made the news. It shouldn't matter if it is a guy or a girl. It also shouldn't matter if they knew each other. If it was a guy he hit and they had any sort of argument people wouldn't care. The problem I have is the difference in the way this is handled from any other kind of dispute.

Sorry, couldn't read what you wrote, I'm still in shock that you think there's possibly a "reason" that makes it right for a man to beat a woman unconscious.

I would love to see any woman that has a season ticket demand a full refund. Of course that won't happen.

I wouldn't be surprised if he gets another rousing ovation the first time he takes the field at home.

Male or Female, either way you look at it, it was still a sucker punch.

The Ravens have terminated his contract

Better late than never, I suppose. I have a hard time believing that they didn't know exactly what happened in the elevator long before today, but this is the best they could make of a situation the organization had already botched pretty badly.

terminating his contract was the right move. he's going to count as a lot of dead money against the cap, next year, but it was the right way to go.
