Yeah, he looks like he could be a really versatile player for us. He's got good length, and can shoot. Not a super explosive athlete, but he's a coach's son so you know his work ethic and attitude, basketball IQ, etc will be off the charts.

I think he could be an impact player of Ejim's caliber possibly. His game may be a little more perimeter oriented. I am hoping he is a cross between Ejim and Jok.

I love the length Lewis can bring to the 3 spot as well as his perimeter shooting. Some have pointed out he's pretty skinny right now, but he's also super cut so just needs to add more bulk to his frame. People like former player comparisons and I see his game similar to Taurean Prince's from Baylor a couple years back. Probably not quite as athletic but potentially a more accurate outside shooter.

Also, Movement Hoops is making a documentary/video series profiling Lewis so we will learn more about him from that. I'll add the preview they posted below.

I think more than anything Im impressed with the shirtless gold necklace look. We're going back to the 80's. Someone get that man a mustache and we have a baller :).

Really hope Lewis' play style is more Wes Johnson and less Sherron Dorsey-Walker. He's already got more muscle than both when they were freshmen, but similar body types.

I thought we decided on Clyburn as the correct comparison. I think he's definitely more Clyburn/Johnson than SDW. He's lean, but he's 6'5"-6'6". SDW was 6'4" and even skinnier. Lewis seems to bring more of an intensity/alpha attitude as well.

I don't think he is like Ejim or Clyburn. I know people always want to compare people to former cyclones but I don't think they have had a 6'5 guy that can shoot like that and plays like he does. He is athletic, can finish in the lane, plays hard on both ends. To me he is a guy if he had developed a little faster he would have blown up like Wigginton did. But he didn't really become a great shooter until his Senior year and has improved handles as well.

Lewis, the Journal Sentinel's area player of the year, averaged 22.2 points, 9.9 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.8 assists per game and led the team to an undefeated record in the City Conference last season. He finished the year with 16 double-doubles and showed great offensive efficiency.

Lewis finished the season with 577 points on 363 shots. He shot 62% overall, a percentage he maintained while going 62 of 121 (52.1%) from three-point range. He averaged just below 14 shots per game.

Just a total wild guess, and absolutely no inside info, but maybe Brandon Goodwin of Florida Gulf Coast will be able to graduate and wants to play at a higher level? He's a redshirt junior guard, previously transferred from UCF after a run-in with the law, and declared for the draft w/o an agent. Averaged 18.5 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 4.1 apg last year with 35% 3 point shooting. He's originally from the Atlanta area, so Coach Small probably knows his AAU coach.
