At a grad party on Saturday, a few of us couples with graduating kids were talking about how we like having lists for the jobs because it's nice to see items crossed off of the list as we accomplish them. We then agreed that our wives don't really like doing that. Wives only prefer adding to the list so it gets longer instead of shorter.

Bike ride. It's supposed to rain more tomorrow.

It was not really a tough call. Ride it is. Light out till whatever tonight so can still mow later. Mowing takes me 15 minutes if I don't trim and I usually do not.

It's been raining off and on all day. It's a good thing because it hadn't rained since Saturday morning so things were looking a bit dry.

My gas lines are all off a manifold with shut offs, wish the water was.

I wouldn't but it is fun to dream...

Hostess is always very nice, but I'm not sure why she doesn't get that the dog needs to learn not to bite or stay kenneled when guests are present.

If that had been @CloneLawman, he would have explained it to her in a nice courtroom before a wonderfully fair judge.

I think no matter what size garage you have, it's always one size too small. Unless you have a garage mahal.

My idea of the right size garage:

Skidloader optional. (But very handy!)

I should go cut down my dead shrubs now. And mow. And change the oil in the mower. And transplant some of the plants into the front yard area I dug up before the monsoons arrived.

Of I could just say **** it and go ride the trails to the Chain of Lakes.

Tough call.

If you wait too long, the pie and wine might have something to say about it.

Dog bites are strict liability in Iowa. Not sure about the People's Republic of Minnesota (I think it is the same). By the way, I neither dislike Minnesota nor do I have anything in particular against socialists.

I do both. Last week I had a monster list but I still added to it as I did new things I'd forgotten just so I could check it off

Coleus are pretty hardy also, if you're not looking to grow edible stuff.
