Had a really special afternoon today. I found local home grown strawberries at the grocery perfect for making my Grandma Smith's famous strawberry jam. So my mom and I had a great afternoon making my grandma's jam and her sharing memories of doing the same with my grandma when she was young.
Sure my grandma was watching from above with a big smile on her face.

It was from Twin Anchors that was sold at the dollar fresh in Nevada.
Berry Patch had previously announced their strawberry crops didn't survive the winter so I thought I was SOL for fresh strawberries this year. Glad I found some reserves.
And yep that will be going into the freezer. No jam sold in a store compares to my grandma's jam.

you know your day isn’t starting well and it feels like your underwear is twisted sideways and no amount of adjusting it can correct it.
