Why is @ChrisMWilliams acting like George Strait has never played in Ames? I'm glad he's there again, but the man has played in Ames.
Interesting. An above ground (portable?) pool inside Lucas Oil Stadium for Olympic Trials.
I wonder if that will impact ripple effect with the soft (non-cement) sices? Could make some of the lanes harder to swim in, I would think.
They had a similar setup when they had the trials in Omaha.
Okay, guess the drought here in my neck of the woods is truly over. I've mowed twice this month. The last two years it was five times each summer.
For fun I do my "engine hours". Up to 26 minutes on the old Craftsman this year. My yard be small, at least the grass part.

Interview done. Everything seemed to go great. It's an amazing fit for our current life situation.

I'm told that a 1/2 inch 4x8 sheet of osb weighs 50lbs. Sure doesn't feel like it carrying sheets up a roof. More like 10lbs.
That’s a 4 foot by 8 foot piece. Not 4 inches by 8 inches.
Yet another storm blew through last night. Neighbors recycling bin blew over. I picked all the water bottles that blew into my yard. About the only time I buy bottled water is when I'm on the road
Okay, for the concert tomorrow. Some stuff says no tailgating. Some says as long as you don’t block the drive, but if they assign spots, then when the other lane fills, you should be fine, right?

I think everyone is planning on tailgating so strength in numbers?
I have a hard time believing they can stop tailgating 90% of the comments in the concert thread were about tailgating, so who knows?
