I went to the game tonight. My first time in the new park. Great park!

I hate battling traffic and expensive parking downtown, so I drove to the Park and Ride at Fort Snelling and rode the light rail into downtown. Very slick...cost $4 round-trip.

I was at the game last night, and I agree... it's a great park.
As far as parking goes, there were couple places about 4 blocks from the ballpark that were charging $3-$5, and was able to get on 94 or 394 within 5 min.

Back from 2 day trip to Minn. Great to see a win today. Took the rail from Mall of America to Target Field. Great price but is does takes about 50-55 minutes. Twins fans were great and Target Field is a great venue for the Twins. Went to two games and still was more to see and do so I'll need to make it up for a another ballgame or so. Great experience!

A major league GM told Rosenthal that he expects the Twins to be the most active team at the deadline. While many in the industry expect the club to be players for Cliff Lee, their officials are telling teams that they have other priorities. Their greater need is at third base while they may also shop for bullpen help. However, the Twins are in a very strong financial position as they had insurance on Joe Nathan's contract. If they can recover half of that deal, they'll take in $5.6MM. On top of that, the box office numbers in their new home, Target Field, are very solid.
