Way up there
Eisworth made huge strides last year after the first few games. He was a liability against OU, the two big plays he gave up ended up deciding the game but after that, he was solid. He was a beast against the run from day 1.

Crazy, but probably since he's in a 3 man set and doesn't rack up the stats, they may not notice a man that gets double-teamed constantly. Be interesting to see how well him and Uwazurike do after this year.

If there were a stat for occupying blockers and generally being disruptive so that your teammates can make plays, then Lima is right up there at the top in the country.

It gets noticed at Bama. Regular Joe fans can't identify Lima's potential.

Ames
honorable mention Jeff Gladney, CB, TCU
honorable mention JaQuan Bailey
13 Eisworth
6 Caden Sterns, S, TEX

and that's it for the Big XII.

This seems like a good place to leave this thought. Eisworth is a really good player, and deserves these accolades.

However, if you listened to the staff over the last few weeks (as Spring drills were about to begin, iirc), what they actually said is that Anthony Johnson is the team’s most talented defensive back.

Stop and think about that for a second. As good as Eisworth is...

Campbell and his coaching staff have done a good job finding talented guys that don't have a lot of P5 offers
