Is there a reason we still get the official press releases posted by "CycloneFanatic"? They just seem redundant since C-Willy posts most of these items himself and often with actual commentary and not just the link.

I know that and if that's how site management prefers to run it, that's fine. It just seems like a redundant holdover from the way Jeremy ran the site. Nowadays C-Wily does a write up on the press releases that hold the most interest for probably 90% of the site users. It just seems redundant to double post them.
Some like to be able to read the "official" Iowa State release here at CF. If there are enough people out there who feel this way, we can change it but you are the first to ever bring it up.
Sometimes I get confused when I see the "official" thread thinking there is something new in your thread. Maybe I'm the only one that's that stupid. At the very least probably the only one that was bothered enough by it to start a thread, lol.
