It's a game that we shouldn't take lightly, but we match up well with them. We weren't even playing our best (neither were they) in our first game and we won by 10 on the road.

Yes, OSU has won 10 of 11 but let us remember those wins: TT (2), TCU (2), OU (2), KSU, WVU, Texas. The win at WVU was massive and so has been their winning streak. Can't deny that.

But in Iowa State's streak we have wins at KU, at KSU, at TT, vs Baylor to name a few. Our wins are more impressive.

My biggest fear is Forte. He's only beaten Iowa State ONCE in his entire career and that was as a freshman. He's 1-6. Put Thomas and/or Jackson on him and don't let him shoot.

I think we win by 8-10

Monte assist to Naz, the Cowboy killer himself, for a game winning 3 and a very fitting ending.

Iowa St will need to bring the A game on defense. Okie St is the most similar to Iowa St in terms of high powered guard play, but lacking in the front court.

Evans - Morris
Forte - Naz
Carroll - Thomas
Hammonds - Burton
Solomon - Young

Devon Dillard is a guy that didn't get much playing time the first meeting, but has come on quite a bit since. Big guard 6-5 215.

Kind of excited to see Solomon Young in this one. This is gunna be night and day difference from the Baylor game. Going from the multiple big athletic guys, that crash the glass, to a weaker defender that lacks athleticism.

What do I think about this game? I think Solomon Young is going to be the X-factor again that pushes us over the top. These teams who play us a second time are not used to Young in the post which completely changes the dynamic of the game in our favor.

Teams that give us trouble are the ones that can spread us out and then dribble penetrate. We'll need another efficient offensive day which will help slow them down. Their shooting scares me. We might get down big, can't ditch the game plan and start chucking up shots when that happens.

Iowa State by about 10. Still not sure why this game scares people.

Okay....admittedly, I'm nervous about every game. But, good grief, man...OkState didn't just win 10 of their last 11games by getting lucky. Plus, I can't shake how we struggled mightily in last year's senior game against them. This is a much better team than that one with a better coach. Not going to predict a loss, but you can't blame fans (CW included) for being worried. KU struggled big time last night on senior night, and we have more seniors than they do. Emotionally exhausting. Solomon, Donovan, Nick need to step up.

Lose this one on a buzzer beater...beat WVU on the road. This team is the Road Warriors not home cookers.
