Kansas State 31 Iowa State 6
Iowa 28 Iowa State 14
Baylor 62 Iowa State 42
Oklahoma State 14 Iowa State 7
Iowa State 28 Toledo 21
Texas 51 Iowa State 6
Oklahoma 45 Iowa State 6
Kansas 14 Iowa State 3
Iowa State 14 Texas Tech 7
Iowa State 21 West Virginia 17
TCU 34 Iowa State 14

-3-12 for the year. Pretty confident we win 3 or under this year.
-Next year we may win 4 games if we are lucky.
-Prediction we don't win a bowl game for at least a decade.
-Rhoads is fired and replaced by Mangino in 5 years

But regardless of our team sucking so much that they lose to Kansas (only scoring a field goal in the entire game), I will enjoy the season until basketball starts.

Hahaha riiiight. More likely than the OP, sure, but still not happening.

Shocked!!! Every single neg poster has to tear down this guy's idea and defend how bad this team HAS to be this year and EIU trolls show up. What is this, oh yeah, every single freaking football forum thread in 2014.

OK, I was extremely bored at work today and quickly compiled a game-by-game breakdown of Iowa State's football season. I realize that in no way is it realistic, and I'll just say it before you all crucify me. It is essentially a best case scenario/fantasy-land dream of how I would like our football season to play out. I could have taken it much further, but I slammed on the brakes a little.

I had stats for individual games, but since the file was huge, I limited it to just overall season statistics. Stats are attached, I've got game by game scores here:

Iowa State 44 NDSU 17
Iowa State 37 Kansas State 34
Iowa State 35 Iowa 31
Baylor 54 Iowa State 42
Oklahoma State 48 Iowa State 30
Iowa State 55 Toledo 14
Iowa State 46 Texas 43 (OT)
Oklahoma 45 Iowa State 24
Iowa State 56 Kansas 21
Iowa State 47 Texas Tech 42
Iowa State 45 West Virginia 39 (OT)
TCU 34 Iowa State 24 (out of gas finally)

For those of you keeping track at home, that's an 8-4 finish, 5-4 Big 12 record. I included a bowl game against no opponent specifically, which we win incidentally (homer, sue me).

I was so bored all I could dream about was how Mangenius is going to turn this offense around, and I probably got a little too excited. I obviously don't account for injuries not to mention really having no clue what the actual depth chart will be. Oh well, it was fun.

42 Touchdowns for Rohach?? The single season record is Bandhauer with 20 so...

If we lose to Kansas and only score 3 points I will officially give up on everything ISU football.

Grant Rohach with 3,800 passing yards and 42 touchdowns? That's All-American material. I like the optimism, but you need to lay off the PCP.

I don't think any ISU QB has ever threw for 42 TDs.

Show me an ISU QB who has had Allen freaking Lazard to throw to AND Mangenius calling the shots.

Mix a little bit of 'Gino, with a little bit of Lazard, and top it off with some twinkle twinkle dust and Voila!!! 42 TD's coming right up!
