I so want Texas to be like a 6-7 point favorite and have Campbell just tack it on the wall all week.

I know it won’t be that high but that’s my wish. The guys would be pissed off about that one.

Great news! The game is only 5 days away!

edit: that actually gives a big advantage to Texas having had the previous two weeks off. Ugh
Normally I would think so but this team looks like it's hitting it's stride while Texas sat for 2 weeks. Yes they get more time to prepare but also time to rust. If the game vs KSU was a street fight then the extra rest would be nice but we coasted in that game. We have momentum and the team is laser focused with a staff that won't let the short week throw a wrench in it's preparedness.

There will be a decidedly home field advantage with plenty of butts in the seats. Texas controls their own destiny just like we do. Win out and they are in. OU and OSU can’t say that.
This is the game we historically lay the egg. Hoping we show we are beyond that with everything on the line.

Yep, this is essentially the semi-final game for the Big 12 Championship. Time to take the next step and KILL.

Almost 3 weeks off, which is not great all the time. Players tend to lose focus with a bye week. They are probably really losing focus with that much time off. As someone else pointed out, ISU coasted yesterday. Sure Hall got 135 yards, but on only 15 carries. We didn't see any Clones down on the field yesterday, and they got some reserves playing time. Also saw Ramos out there playing which is a good sign for the OL.

If OU wins out they are in, what are you talking about?

Didnt OSU have three weeks for our game against them?

Texas is not losing focus or getting tired of playing or waiting around for the season to be over.

they will be 100% prepared and energized for this game. Make no mistake about it

Texas -4.5. Remember these lines are set to get betting action, not necessarily who they think is that much better, so with Texas being a big name I suspect they'll set it a point or two higher than it should be.
