Yeah. Blue collar, truckstop-like folks...Well, Utah fans seem level headed and not at all entitled, so this is surprising.

Students won't be back yet, hopefully some bought break tickets.Sure hope it warms up soon or it's gonna be brutal for those students.
I agree, he’s a good coach. But the AD and the boosters just don’t support basketball there like they need to in order to compete. He just has nothing to work with. Honestly I think Utah is in trouble overall. They want to support football but really don’t have the NIL to do it compared to BYU.I hope Utah is patient with him
He's an outstanding coach and a great human being. Won at freaking South Dakota and rebooted Utah State to what they are now after a bad hire after Stew Morill. Just hope he gets the opportunity to turn it.

Yeah it was around 3 weeks or soo when I finished up, under qtrs (Yeah I'm old) It seemed like it was a couple of weeks off between each qtr but I really can't remember that accurately. What the French toast!? They don't start until January 20th. They had 4 full weeks of winter break(!!!)...
That's ridiculous.
Back in my day I swear we only had 3 weeks.
COVID caused Fall 2020 schedule changes at the 3 Regents institutions. That led to initiating a 4-week winter term, beginning the Monday after December commencement. The winter term now provides additional tuition revenue. So spring classes now start on the Tuesday after MLK Day. I believe the fall and spring semesters are still the same number of days. Thanks, was wondering about this. Old man comment: Seems like break is so much longer than it was when I was in college.

You sound like you’re in the know;-), so does this mean the lower level sections of Cyclone Alley were offered to students as general admission first, and we can expect the students to fill those two sections behind the basket as many undoubtedly would have bought KU tickets, or was it sold to the general public at large? Not necessary, as the students are still out on break. The lower (parquet-level) sections of Cyclone Alley had tickets sold as general admission, but all other student section tickets were sold to the general public as assigned seating.

That's playing a big part but also that they're too good, the games haven't been competitive so there's no real reason for the crowd to ramp it up to boost the team.like the question on Hilton, but man, the loudness just isn't the same without all the students there.
