Now that NIU laid an egg last nite, (I think) there are some very interesting
possibilities for the Big XII. Granted -very slight, and unlikely, but not impossible,
can we agree on that?

Ok, so, let's say the games played today go this way....

FSU wins Don't see anyway around this
Ohio State loses to Mich State... if they played 10 times tOSU wins 6 but they only play once, today right :)
Auburn loses to Mizzou... about the same chances of MSU winning over tOSU I think
Okie ST wins -impressively-
Baylor wins
Stanford wins
SMU wins (don't know if this matters either way)

Now please lets not get into a peeing match about the likelihood of this
happening ok?

I'd just like to know what ISU fans think this would mean for our conference

Not sure what you're getting at. It doesn't take all of that happening for the big 12 to get two BCS bowl bids and even with all that the Big 12 still wouldn't get into the championship game over a 1 loss SEC champ and Florida St.

mmm..the champ game yes- but I think the powers that be will do
anything to keep baylor out. And, that's why I think it matters most of all
how OSU wins today (if they do) since it affects BU's SOS etc.

I'm just curious what people think it will take for us to two in.

All that Baylor and OSU has to do to get in is to win today. Lose and you're out.

hmm if MSU loses but drops no lower than 14th Rose Bowl can still pick them right?
or do I have that wrong?
