Does anyone know if Mound Street Landing still has 1 dollar draws and free hot wings during the week?

Best Ruben ever. Spent many nights at the Stubbe, even remember some of them.

Only when you're hammered, but make sure to add snow to your magic mountain.

Going to have to respectfully disagree, it's good, but not the best Ruben in the QC. That award goes to the Belgian Village Inn in Moline. Mind you, it could probably feed a family of four.

If you're in Ross's prior to 3 AM, you aren't doing it right.

My wife and I are going to the Little Big Town concert in Davenport on Saturday, and I was wondering what are some good, reasonably priced places to eat over there? Open to just about anything. The show is at Adler Theater, so something in the vicinity of the venue would be prefered.

Just down River Drive in Bettendorf is Tratatoria Tiramasu. Very good Italian place, inexpensive, and great appetizers.

I'll take your word for it only because your a local. Now I'm mad I never had one.

I dine and dashed at Ross's no less than a dozen times.

Any restaurant located under a bridge doesn't deserve any less.

It's true, I'm a local. I have the Davenport West End running through my veins. For those of you from central Iowa, it's the equivalent of being an Eastender from DSM.

In the ruben category it really isn't fair. At the Belgian Village the Ruben doesn't fit on a full sized plate.

Don't forget the Traveler otel across the street. Nothing speaks class like hourly rates & a convenient "toy store" in the lobby.

The Paddlewheel Lounge, Ross', and The Traveler. In that order. All a guy could need within a 1 block radius.

Don't forget that you're in spitting distance to a casino as well. All it needs is a dirty strip club in the area.

I agree - Nix on Ross's. Unless you like 45 year old vinyl booths like Sambo's had in the 1970's. It a "good" place for after hours too drunk to go home let's have breakfast place.

Used to get the marinated turkey sandwich at Bier Stube. Good stuff, but your breath will smell like garlic for the next two days or so.
