I have a feeling Pelle will qualify this year academically, but I'm sure coaches are concerned whether or not he can pass college level classes.

The key is if he goes to class. If you show up every day, anyone can pull down a gpa that will keep you eligible. It's not as if he'll be taking 15 hrs of engineering and calculus classes.

With that said, I would look at Pelle as a 1-yr player and anything beyond that is gravy.

Theres a highlight video of Pelle where he shoots a FT right handed and then a jumper left handed. So I don't know if I'd call him a lefty. I think he is mainly a righty

Judging by his offer list there has to be huge concerns about him ever getting into/staying in school.

I sort of see Pelle being like Fab last year, potentially being ineligible next year for a part of the season, however I'm way ahead of myself here....just a thought

I'm surpised someone hasn't done a potential lineup if Pelle signs yet.....again.

all this staying eligible talk reminds me of Alvin Mack in The Program. "I can read. You see that shoe? It says Adidas"

If he is one and done, he doesn't even need to go to class.
Does it bother anyone if ISU get the reputation of taking players that have zero chance of ever making any kind of academic progress while in school? I know there were some rumblings about such issues when Larry was here. Larry won league titles so he basically got a pass on the subject, although you heard more about it as his teams started to not perform as well.
