Such a tough, tough spot to go into.

Unless the hotel operates it or rent is almost zero, its gotta be really tough for anything to make it there.

Damn just saw that it was there when I drove out 13th on Saturday, guess it is off the list of places to try.

Lucullans, Pazzesco, it just seems like decent Italian places are doomed.

Is Geangelos doing OK? Haven't been there in ages.

Went there a couple times, food was good, but the place felt old and kind of run down, on top of it being in an old hotel which feels weird.

Every time I go to geangelos it’s seems to busy. And it’s good. Just forget about it being where it is.

Yea, bummer that was our go to place for Italian in the area. Might have to get takeout one more time this weekend

Whenever something has the word "Forno" in the name, I am dubious...

My friend’s little old lady mom in Italy made me a dish she simply called “pasta al forno” that was the best meal of my life.

It was like lasagna but the pasta layers were paper thin and like 30 layers.

I totally get what you mean by that name though in an American restaurant. I doubt they’d ever name a restaurant “baked pasta” in Italy.

I think a Dennys or IHOP style diner would fit that location a lot better.

I may be alone on this, but I went several times and never really had a good to great meal. It was great service, but mid food, terrible location, and that pool smell was just awful.

That really sucks - we really liked this place. They had a great gluten free pasta, which was important to us. Every meal I had there was excellent. We always got it to go so I guess the pool smell never really bothered me.
