Sports is so unpredictable and sometimes we put too much intangible into the outcomes, but... do we win last night's game if we had beaten Kansas State? I mean, did it actually matter 'that significantly' that we played with the 'sense of urgency, backs against the wall, squelch the doubters, must-win' type of performance? Or.... was it just basketball? Meaning, Shayok made the free throws we needed at the end and we didn't get that done last Saturday.
