Opera on a Moto Q

A friend of mine is running on Opera on his Moto Q instead of Internet Explorer. He said you had to have java to get it to work. Does anyone know how to get the free copy of java for the Moto Q that will allow opera to work?

There's Opera Mini, and Opera Mobile.

I think that you can install either on the Q without anything additional. Opera Mini is free but Opera Mobile costs $$.

Its been a while since I tried it... I just came across this:

If you can follow that you may be able to get it installed.
