Welcome back to On That Note, a Cyclone Fanatic music exploration hosted by @MeanDean, @CycloneRulzzz and me, cyclones500. I’ll serve as host for this segment.

This week, we focus on songs with winter-related themes.

Two basic constraints:
1. Do not post songs commonly associated with Christmas.
2. Songs with random use of winter-like terms, such as cold, snow or ice, do not automatically qualify.

I’ll post a few of my selections in a separate post.

Among my least-favorite tracks from “Waiting For the Sun,” but when our OTN panel-of-music-geeks broached this week's topic, it’s one of the first songs that came to me.

I can’t resist a Morrison lyrical revision: “I am the Lizard King … I can do anything … including polka!”

I'm a huge Simon and Garfunkel person but I'd tend to agree. The Bangles version just rocks a bit more.
