Hello and welcome to another weekly offering of On That Note, our music post. We (@cyclones500, @CycloneRulzzz and I) pick a topic and look for your input.
My idea for this week was already in the hopper before we learned the news that B J Thomas passed away on Saturday. The topic, ironically enough, is songs by artists who use one or more initials in their stage name. B J Thomas was one of the first ones I thought of.
Just to understand, these are names of individuals or acts, but not group name abbreviations, so NO to CCR, ELO and REM! (We already did an OTN for three letter names to include those abbreviations.)
I'm a bit worried about the potential for this topic so I'm going to suggest limiting each poster to one song per artist for the first 12 hours. So if you post one B J Thomas song tonight, please wait until at least tomorrow morning before posting another. Give others a chance please. Thanks.
