Only reason Bronny is on the team is his dad.
All you have to do is look at some of the Freshman around the country that were in the game last year. KU has a couple of them that barely play.Tj has definitely increased the talent level but you have to also remember they are true freshman. We have been used to 4th and 5th year guys in the program so far who have a ton of experience but maybe weren't as highly rated.
The key will be to still get experienced transfers while keeping the core guys here for 3-4 years.
@isufbcurt why is this dumb?
Insightful! He isn’t a prospect that typically makes the game. Granted there are sometimes one or two outside of the top but you are kidding yourself if you think his name didn’t play a huge role in him getting it over more highly rated guys.Because it's a dumb take, simple as that.
Need to land some butter burger boys!Knew he was going to be a bust. WTF, only McDonalds All American? TJ needs to be fired if he isn’t going after Culver’s All Americans by year two.
I take it you were not around when Marcus Fizer played here?Man I’ve been waiting a long time to see ISU get a McDonald’s all American. This is freaking awesome lol

Because of his name/dad. He’s a good player and obviously comes from good genes, but he gets more hype than he should.He's got a higher rating than the Okie St and a Kentucky guy
As ISU fans we should know ratings don’t always pan out. You are kidding yourself if you don’t think kids like Arch Manning and Bronny would be rated MUCH lower if their parents weren’t who they are. Bronny is a very good HS player, but nothing I have seen screams can’t miss prospect.He's got a higher rating than the Okie St and a Kentucky guy
His ranking always was gonna be influenced by his dad, but he has made pretty big strides as a player. He wouldn't usually be a McD's AA kind of player, or at least a guaranteed one, but he's definitely a lot closer to his ranking now than he was a year ago if that makes sense.@isufbcurt why is this dumb?
I’m pretty worried about the Xs and Os from TJ though. The inbounds pass plays don’t work 100% of the time which is very concerning.
TJ has over-delivered on his coaching and his recruiting.This seems good.
