Well they overachieved, they were picked 8th and there is no all conference talent on the team. Lately the lack of a go to player has cost them
We have a head coach - a figurehead recruiter - that does very little play diagramming. A lead assistant that was a part of giving up one of the most flabbergasting comebacks in NCAA tournament history (UNI-A&M). And our f***ing recruiting/player development coordinator Schmidt drawing up the majority of plays.
It’s not surprising how awful we are to end games against, like, actual head coaches that know what they’re doing.

Circled right back around to wanting players to not play and replacing them with players that don't exist.
It does suck to let him walk out of Hilton with a win one last time. He got a last laugh just like Connor did.
Thought that was the difference late. Was hoping Gabe would take those shots instead of Double O and Holmes.
No idea why Rob was playing in crunch time and why WV didn’t foul him. Turned out they didn’t need to.
Man that one was a bummer. I really wanted the guys to get that one. They played better but still had too many lapses down the stretch.
2nd time around the league teams have figured out that we have 2 or 3 players that just cannot shoot from outside at all, and they are just giving us those shots. We tried at least bounce passes tonight to a big, and none of them got to our guy. It's just sloppy basketball at the most important time of the season.
What a disappointment this team has become. A team that cannot hold a lead and has no offense. Terrible for all the players who fight so hard and have others who fail consistently. Sad that Hilton Magic has been lost!
I remember those teams. I had to fight with dumbasses who thought that was acceptable basketball then and I guess I have to do it now too.

Then they drive straight into our defenders - much like how Texas Tech did in the 2nd half against us.
