Chiefs have really screwed themselves. Their defense is old with Johnson, Houston, Hali (if he ever plays), and Eric Berry (when he comes back). Alex Smith was looking like awesome trade material in the next offseason to free up a ton of cap room and get a draft pick or two. Now he is playing like dog crap. The window for the Chiefs has closed and time to start a major rebuild.
Hunt needs to nut up and tell Reid he will not be his own playcaller next year. Losing Pederson two years ago is coming home to roost.
They offered him a token start to keep the streak alive and he turned it down.
Good for him. He handled that situation as well as anyone could. If they had gone straight to Davis Webb I would have respected the Giants a little more. They're out of contention and they need to know what they have in Webb before they commit to blowing it all up and starting over with a new QB, coach, and possibly GM. But don't trot out Geno Smith and claim you're still trying to win games. That's BS.
I saw that in articles on this yesterday. Good for Eli. He has more class than the rest of giants franchise combined. This guy beat Tom Brady's team twice to win Super Bowls and you bench him for Geno Smith? GTFO
