Joshua Jefferson was so good, however people are missing that Keshon was outstanding too tonight.Just got home and missed everything but the final score of the game. Someone give me the TL;DR version of how we looked tonight please.

I've never seen a guy of his size pump fake so much under the basket...when Dishon is the aggressor he can be very good
I am thinking his thumb has moved him to the 3 spot rather than pg. sure wish he could move back to point - that really makes the team more complete and a more serious threat for post-season. PGs are truly the coaches right hand, and no one else is as much as a coach as tamin. How is Tamin’s thumb??
Some rumors flying around. Starting to feel like deja vu.
Pretty good!Just got home and missed everything but the final score of the game. Someone give me the TL;DR version of how we looked tonight please.
Agree, he had a great game. So many great drives and finishes. It's just that we almost expect it out of him now.Joshua Jefferson was so good, however people are missing that Keshon was outstanding too tonight.
I would take that twice this Sat. and Mon.!Favored by 15 and went 10 over that. You will take that all day and twice on Sundays.
Good call JackassThis game scares me. Hoping that I’m wrong, but this feels like it could be somewhat the continuation of a slump, and UCF is not exactly a slump buster
Your wish was grantedI need to see a butt trouncing of a win for us to feel good again. Still feel a little defeated and down after that loss on Saturday.
I just loved seeing him catch and shoot with confidence. I said it after the KU game too, but I’ve never been on the Watson bandwagon, but if he’s going to be aggressive like that offensively he’s going to be tough to not play more.Watson's 3 kind of ignited the team. He brings a different energy. Heise's stat line is really good. 4 steals.
It's not an either/or. Both can contibute. This is a positive development.
yes. Too bad he couldn’t outscore his felony gun charges last nightdoes anyone else remember when Mikey Williams was a top 5 recruit and was supposed to be the next big thing coming out of high school?
You could also see the players moving the ball on that possession after he passed up a three get him another look. They all know how important it will be to get him hitting some shots.Couple of thoughts…
- I have a really hard time thinking of a better all-around boxscore game than Jefferson tonight. It’s got to be one of the all time greats.
- as noted by several others, Keshons performance will be understandably overshadowed by JJ but 21/6/8 with 3 steals and 1 TO on 10-15 shooting is insane.
- both of of these are all big 12 / all American kind of performances.
- Curt with another 19 points and 8 rebounds. Not his most efficient game but he is as consistent as they come. He’s averaging almost 21 in conference and has only 2 games with less than 14 this year. He also has only 1 game with more than 2 turnovers.
- Tamin with another “quiet” night. Our All-American is barely talked about and he seems completely unbothered by it - which is not surprising and why we is a fan and team favorite.
- our crowd continues to be so in tune with this team. They go crazy every time Watson does anything and knew how significant that three point make from Heise was. There are few - if any - more knowledgeable fan bases in CBB.
- I thought 16 was a huge spread for a conference game. My post did not age well.
- does anyone else remember when Mikey Williams was a top 5 recruit and was supposed to be the next big thing coming out of high school? I don’t even think TJ would let him walk on to this team.
For whatever reason, UCF gave Jackson and Chatfield problems. I really thought they could bully their front court but that length and the doubles from the wings got them into trouble.Rewatched the game. Really good effort by the team on the bounce back. Only concern was Jackson looked lethargic at times. Not sure if he’s still fighting something or if the physicality of the B12 is getting to him, but once he’s back to his normal self this team gets even better
It was more than the three even. That little flurry he put together really sparked a run.Player of the game IMO was Watson. His corner three really sparked the team. He continued to make high energy, high effort plays all night. The team feeds off of energy like that.
