How did we give up more offensive rebounds to a team shorter than Baylor/OU/KU/Texas/etc....

That was hard to watch. At one point they played volleyball with the backboard.

It's the beauty of the NCAA tournament. You play this game 5 times and ISU will win more than lose. However, in March teams like UAB aren't supposed to win. If they lose, then nobody cares so they can take more chances. When Texas, Kansas, etc plays in the regular season it's not the end of the world and while if they don't win it's a big deal, if they lose it's not the end of their season.

This is the beauty of the NCAA Tournament and why I love it so much. Unfortunately we were on the receiving end of it again.

Well I'd have to agree - that's pretty classless if true.
I didn't add the part at the end. That was all part of the tweet. I personally don't think young kids not going through a handshake line after a tough loss is a big deal.

Defense and rebounding will make Hoiball better. The Blazers were getting to the rim with ease all afternoon. How many extra shots did UAB get because of rebounding.

Sorry, but I did not agree with the final play calls. Did Fred draw these up?

George was off all-game, getting blocked and missing left and right. Long couldn't hit a 3 to save his life, even wide-open. Not to mention

Last 2 plays (or something like that) was for George and Long. Why not draw something up for Matt, who was the only player anywhere near hot? Meh... hindsight is 20/20 I guess.

I can't understand why Fred can't get these guys to respect and play hard against teams that are supposedly not as good as they are.

Bill Plaschke ‏@BillPlaschke 4m4 minutes ago Many of Iowa State's players walk off without shaking hands...classless ending to a classess effort..something wrong in that locker room
Hope this isn't true...not UAB's fault we tried to sleepwalk through an NCAA tourney game. Shake their hands...humility may have helped this team.

Should have known we were in trouble when I saw the hair dye jobs.

....I said earlier today that I hope they're focused on just playing basketball than looking good. Guess they took the latter.

Why? If true I'd be very upset with our program/players for doing that.

This is how I feel, if this is true, I'm almost glad this team lost. They seemed to play all year like no one else belonged on the floor with them, so if they ended the season this way, they can go **** themselves. Man up and shake hands.
