Through the magic of ESPN.com, I compiled some key stats - the old-fashioned ones, not new metrics - on our 5 guys in the NBA this season. Points are in bold (sorry - the formatting doesn't stick when I post it):

GP MinPG PTS FG% 3PT% PPG RPG APG TOPG

Monte Morris 82 24 851 49% 41% 10.4 2.4 3.6 0.6
Abdel Nader 61 11 241 42% 32% 4 1.9 0.3 0.4
Georges Niang 59 9 235 48% 41% 4 1.5 0.6 0.4
Deonte Burton 32 8 82 40% 30% 2.6 0.9 0.3 0.3
Naz Mitrou-Long 14 6 16 30% 18% 1.3 0.4 1.1 0.6

These 5 scored a total of 1425 points this year.

Could you please do the same thing for ex-ToE's in the NBA? Thanks.

I would have thought Nader's to be much higher than Georges'. I guess Niang did get some early season run.

Pretty solid for Monte. He rebounded slightly better than I thought he would.

I like this picture; I imagine that some won't. Pro coaches don't tweet; college coaches have to.

I recognize the guy on the left and right. Who is that in the center?

By the way, it looks like the guy in the middle has an Adidas shirt. Help for recruiting possibly?

The Jazz kick off their playoffs on Sunday evening on TNT at 9:30 ET / 8:30 CT against the Houston Rockets. Let's see if the Jazz can guard the bearded human pinball.

My guess is that Georges won't see any playing time and if he does, it will be along the lines of 4 to 6 minutes. Maybe I'm wrong.

Fansided's Nugglove.com has named Monte Morris the Nuggets' 6th man of the year, over M. Plumlee and M. Beasley. Here's their write-up of his season:

The bench for the Denver Nuggets proved to be deadly to opposing teams throughout the season. This award could have easily gone to Mason Plumlee, whose ability to rebound, block shots and pass helped the second unit excel. But we are going to give the award to Monte Morris because of the shoes he had to fill. Injuries to Jamal Murray, Gary Harris, Will Barton and Isaiah Thomas all forced Morris into heavy minutes and he did not disappoint. He led the offense alongside Jokic admirably and kept the Nuggets in contention for a high seed despite a swath of injuries to other Denver players. Boasting averages of 10.4 PPG, 2.4 RPG and 3.6 APG while shooting 49% from the field, Morris showed whether he must lead the first or second unit, he can do both successfully. He is only 23 and has shown great potential at the point guard position.

I don't know that there is a better trio off the bench than those 3. Both individually and playing together with each other.

Monte Morris' 2-seeded Nuggets lost game 1 in Denver to San Antonio, 101-96, after trailing most of the game. On the plus side for ISU fans is that Morris was the 1st off the bench and played the most minutes of the subs but didn't end with a great line: 23 MIN, 2 PTS, 1-6 FG, 5 AST, 1 STL and a -11 (worst on the team).

The Nuggets were cold from the field but managed to get within a point late. They ended up shooing 42% from the field, 21% from 3 and 67% from the line.

OKC - Portland is at 3:30 ET / 2:30 CT today on ABC. The Jazz have the late game at 10:30 ET / 9:30 CT on TNT.

Abdel Nader isn't dressed today for OKC in their first playoff game. Does anyone have any info on that? I couldn't find a tweet or anything.

Well, with all the Game 1's behind us, our guys didn't bathe themselves in glory in the playoffs in the opening games. The Jazz, Nuggets and Thunder all lost. Only Monte played meaningful minutes and he went 1-6 from the field with 2 pts. Nader didn't dress - though I don't yet know why - and Burton didn't get on the court.

Georges got a bucket in garbage time in their blowout loss to the Rockets. Naz didn't dress.

On to Game 2.

I think Monte is the only one who'll have a chance to be a difference maker.
