What difference does it make what year it is? Doesn't matter if we suck in Year 1, 7, whatever.

People act like a team is suppose to keep getting better every year until they are 12-0 every year. That's not how football works.

The Rams just won the Super Bowl and are a complete tire fire this year. Completely agree with the above that number of years makes no difference. What if this team somehow goes out and wins 8+ games next year? Is it because it's year 8? No it's because they got better, got the bounces, corrected things, CMC addressed the areas we hope he does like OL and OC, etc. etc.

Fair question(s). Now I have one for you…what if they don’t get better, deficiencies on offense and special teams remain largely unaddressed, and we win 3 games. Do we continue to “stay the course”? Don’t laugh…there is historical precedence at ISU to do just that.
