No idea if this warrants an official thread but I need to bring something to eat to a friends place. What are some recipes or ideas for some good food to snack on during the game? All I have right now for ideas are: pizza bagels, burrito rollups, cheese dip.

Whatever you decide, be sure to get to a grocery store before it starts snowing. Otherwise they'll all be out of food and you'll be out of luck.

Triscuit cracker (I like the rosemary, basil), smear with cream cheese, top with a smoked oyster and a dash of tabasco sauce. You want to make these at the party as the cream cheese dries out fairly fast. But if you like smoked oysters, they are delicious.

A staple I love is Little Smokies in Barbecue sauce in a crock pot. So easy yet so good.

I made these for a get together last week, but instead of bbq sauce I used Chili Sauce & grape jelly. Apparently it's fairly common, but I just heard about it.

I thought it was pretty tasty, more sweet than normal.

An easy one is get the frozen meatballs dump them in a crockpot with your gravy or sauce of preference, Alfredo is good.

Come on boys wings baby. I marinate mine with chipotle seasoning overnight fry them and roll them in wing sauce, or bbq sauce or leave them with just the seasoning and dip them in hidden valley ranch with franks red hot mixed into the ranch enjoy. I get chicken drummies way more meat!!

Chip dip:
1 can of hormel no bean chili
1 jar of tostitos queso
1 jar of picante salsa
Heat, stir regularly. Easy and always a favorite. Last year I just did it in a microwave, being in the dorms.
