I know it’s contentious but we really need some coaching staff changes. I don’t know enough to know who needs to go but we at minimum need to get a X’s and O’s coach on the bench. Someone who can tell Prohm how to do in game coaching.

I’m not sure where the contentiousness would come from. I think you stated something that is glaringly obvious.

I said few this a few weeks ago and I still believe that our identity needs to be very a high pressure defensive team whose offense is generated by defense. With Tyrese, Nixon, Bolton, Jackson, Lewis, and Grill in the back court, we have the depth and the fouls to give to pressure the crap out of the other team all game long. We also have 4 quality big men to shuttle in and out.

So Lewis for Nixon. I get his defense is good but he also has the offensive output of a lawnchair

Personally, I think I would have Lewis splitting minutes with Bolton, and play Nixon 40 minutes if the foul situation allowed it. I would have Nixon face guard the other team’s best back court scorer.

I get that Lewis can shoot but somehow after 3 years he is still clueless on what to do in our zone offense. How is that possible?

If our team shooting gets bad enough it might not even matter. He could stand in one spot and if he can shoot 35% or better from three it would probably help a team struggling to hit 20% from night to night.

The “Lewis is such a defensive liability, so we can’t afford to have him out there” shtick is tired. The guys getting minutes ahead of him are not any better defending than he is, but what’s worse, they can’t score.

It'll be how we have to win this year. Feast on transition buckets generated by good D

These holiday break non-con games have never been big draws.

Between:
- Sunday noon game
- Non-starter opponent
- No students
- Weekend before Christmas (popular weekend for travel and family events)

...I'm not expecting a great crowd. More walking tacos for me tho

All things considered, fairly pleased with the crowd today

Lol I struggle to see what that has to do with what I said
