Did anybody have issues with the visiting OU fans? We had a guy tailgating in front of the alumni center running his mouth about OU naming the score and ISU would be lucky if the game is even close by halftime. Weird to be so cocky when they are barely ahead of ISU in the standings.

CW also sent this tweet off.

I honestly never had issues with OU fans in the past. It’s like their move to the SECSEC makes them even more egomaniacal than before. Reality is going to hit them like a brick wall when they realize they won’t control the SEC like they did in the Big 12.

We have outgained nearly every team this season. I think K-Stare was the only exception. The difference always comes down to officiating, ST, turnovers and red zone failures on both offense and defense.

The coaches are responsible for at least 2 of the 4 areas of weakness: ST and red zone failures. The latter is an issue on offense and defense but primarily offense. I also think our lack of a running game is causing Dekkers to force the ball sometimes so I would give the coaches some blame for the turnovers too.

Even though we are a top ranked defense we don't force turnovers which doesn't help the offense at all. And of course our ST doesn't help the offense. Practically all.of our coaches have areas they can improve on, but there are only 2 areas that have consistently underperformed: ST and OL.

Agreed. Although playing calling on offense has been highly questionable.

I had OU fans directly behind me yesterday, no issues at all and they actually commented regarding bad calls that went their way a couple times.

Running back talent is you have it or you don’t. Brock is a decent back but he isn’t a home run hitter. He would be serviceable with a good Oline, which we don’t have and really haven’t since Campbell has been here. Extremely unfortunate but a change needs to be made there badly. If we can improve there then you don’t need an NFL back to be successful.

This defense maybe among the best we have ever had. Part of the reason we have reloaded there despite turnover is that it’s easier to rotate and play tons of guys throughout the course of the game. Much harder to do that with olinemen.

Also at ISU, though not as big a deal anymore, but playing time is recruitment strategy and the tightend position has been locked down for years by Chase and Charlie. Tbh the staff probably thought they were covered with Dean. He hasn’t developed simple as that.
I thought adjustments would be made on offense after the K-State game and it seems like they were for the Texas game. However, with a poorer performance this week to add to the lack of strong offense in the other games, I was hoping to hear CMC say in his press conference that something needs to change with how the offense is run overall. It makes sense that consistency needs to improve, but at this point it seems like something also needs to change with overall scheme.

We had a couple of OU fans sitting beside us and they were very nice. When we were called for defensive holding that was called on the defensive line he said "wow, never seen that before!"

He will never say that publicly

I understand the loyalty to Manning, but even when there is loyalty, it seems like head coaches can publicly state that as a coaching staff things need to change in a certain area. They obviously wouldn't say how they were going to change it, but a recognition that things need improvement doesn't say that.
